"Fantastic 'off the wall' concept - imaginative"

Alistair Parvin
Alastair Parvin is a 23-year old Architecture student and design thinker, originally from the Midlands. He studied Architecture at Sheffield University, and is currently living and working in London. His design work is often concerned with time and change, and based on the idea that architecture, whether it's an umbrella, a warehouse, or a bus timetable, should be a participatory and socially beneficial activity; focused on processes rather than products, and people rather than designers. For the ‘Caravan of the Future' competition, his project aimed to explore "The Future of Caravans", and how we might make them more generous and valuable to their users by looking at what they did for 'the rest of the time'.
