"Cargo S" by Paul Burchill and Hervé Delaby

About the designers

Paul Burchill

I am really pleased to be a winner for this exciting competition, The Caravan of the Future, with our entry; Cargo S.

This follows on from a collection of achievements which include appearing
in a film with Johnny Depp, exhibiting my work at the Royal West of England Academy and the Architecture Centre, having my works reviewed in the Designers Journal and attaining an Art scholarship.

I graduated from Kingston University as a 3D (Interiors) Designer and have worked in the design field continuously. My clients include Orange, WHSmith, Harvey Nichols, Jaguar and Barclays.

At present, I am employed with Stride Treglown architects located in Clifton, Bristol.

I maintain my creative interest through sketching, reading, observation and travel.

My future plans include a concept for my own house (not as lightweight or foldaway as the caravan brief!) and my aspiration is to someday exhibit in the Design museum or the Tate (Modern) gallery.

My family and I continue to enjoy outdoor holidays and relish the thought of touring Europe in this creation of triumph!

My design portfolio includes work for Concrete Machinery Systems, Explore@Bristol, Vodafone Ferrari, Sony Ericsson, BMW Intel, Mac Laren Intel, Intel Pentium Art Gallery, London Olympics 2012; Rietveld & Mackintosh stand homage, Serious Structures, Siemens Mobile, Quiksilver/Boost Mobile America, Le palais des congrés Cannes, Barclay's museum of money…"
